Office of the VP Academic & Research
The Vice-President, Academic and Research, is responsible for all academic activities of the University, including programs leading to degrees, diplomas and certificates; research and the dissemination of research results; academic support services for students; and the recruitment, admission and retention of students.
Key objectives include cultivating and maintaining a quality environment for teaching and learning; building a positive and supportive research culture; promoting student success; and encouraging community engagement among faculty and students.
To fulfill these responsibilities and achieve these objectives, the Vice-President Academic and Research leads the Saint Mary's Community in the development and realization of the Academic Plan.
