Marbled Ware
- Type: Refined earthenware
- Date range: c.late 18th and early 19th centuries
- Place of origin: England
This technique was used on annular wares (pearlware).
The technique involved the swirling together of different slips. This effect was not produced by the mixing of different body clays as was used in some coarse earthenwares. The most common colours used are green and light brown.
