Transfer credits and agreements
Saint Mary’s University offers transfer pathways through our articulation agreements with the institutions listed below. Students applying to Saint Mary's from one of these programs, may be eligible to receive up to 60 credit hours of transfer credit toward their degree. Please note that students are required to complete at least 50% of their degree and program (major, minor, honours, concentration or certificate) at Saint Mary's University.
Bermuda College
- Associate of Arts in Business Administration - SMU’s Bachelor of Commerce (up to 60 credit hours)
College of the North Atlantic
- Community Leadership Development Diploma - SMU’s Bachelor of Arts (up to 60 credit hours)
Holland College
- Bioscience Technology Diploma - SMU Bachelor of Science (up to 45 credit hours)
- Holland College Business Administration Diploma - SMU Bachelor of Commerce (up to 60 credit hours)
- Environmental Applied Science Technology Diploma - SMU Bachelor of Science (up to 60 credit hours)
- Wildlife Conservation Technology Diploma - SMU Bachelor of Science (up to 45 credit hours)
New Brunswick Community College
- NBCC Business Administration Diploma - SMU Bachelor of Commerce (up to 60 credit hours)
- NBCC Business Administration Diploma – SMU Bachelor of Commerce (up to 30 credit hours)
Nova Scotia Community College
- NSCC Business Administration Diploma - SMU Bachelor of Commerce (up to 60 credit hours)
- NSCC Criminal Justice - SMU Bachelor of Arts (up to 60 credit hours)
- NSCC Disability Supports and Services - SMU Bachelor of Arts (up to 60 credit hours)
- NSCC Occupational Health and Safety - SMU Bachelor of Science (up to 60 credit hours)
- NSCC Social Services - SMU Bachelor of Arts (up to 60 credit hours)
Not seeing your program? If you completed courses or a program at one of the institutions listed above, your courses will be reviewed for potential transfer credit on a case-by-case basis.
