Pre-University Math
Pre-University Mathematics at Saint Mary’s is designed to help students develop or expand their academic math skills for university. The content of this course is based on Nova Scotia's Mathematics 12 (academic). Students will learn problem solving techniques and will be given opportunities to practice what they learn in applied situations. The course is open to all, with no pre-requisite requirements.
This course meets Saint Mary's Math 12 requirement for admission to a Bachelor of Commerce at the Sobey School of Business.
Pre-requisites: There are no pre-requisites; however, it is recommended that students taking the accelerated 6-week version of the course have some experience with high school-level mathematics.

Day & Time: Course is online with check-ins scheduled by instructor. Courses are asynchronous.
Course Fee: $550
Required Materials: A computer and internet access are required. Access to a writing software (MS Word preferred) is necessary and a graphing calculator (TI-83 or TI-84+) is required.
